I sleep hot so I usually have to crack open a window in winter, it feels like all the apartments surrounding me are blasting their heat so hard I’m like 4-5 degrees Fahrenheit above what my thermostat is set and i hate it (corner apartment, people below and on two sides of me)

A disgustingly low percentage of the US population votes in non-presidential elections. The right-wing has spent the better part of the last century stacking the deck at every level of government. The invention of the internet makes it harder for them to maintain this though (much easier to find out who/what you’re voting for) but that’s going to take a while for a long-term impact to be noticeable

One question still remains; why are all the AI buttons/icons buttholes?

“Flop”, to me, implies some sort of jump. “Metaverse” just kinda rolled off the edge of a cliff immediately, like a dog shitting on a frozen hill.

TL:DR, if you’re at a protest and your signal drops to 2G, your device is being monitored and tracked. Whether or not anyone acts on that data is a whole other thing.

Its not the device cracking that’s the problem; its the “your device was identified at the protest we have labeled a riot and has been tracked to your home, which we will now raid in the middle of the night”.

I would not consider UK-based to be any better than US-based. The UK seems to have a major hate-on for anonymity, privacy, and encryption.
