Mine didn’t say unhined things but I distinctly remember a phase where one became obsessed with “all-natural”/organic everything and would chastise us for using cold medicine or toothpaste with fluoride, replacing all the cleaning products with herbal bullshit that didn’t work. I don’t think that two adults dating with the sole intention of finding a connection and enjoying each other’s company is creepy regardless of the age difference.

I had two cartoon-style injuries: stepped on a rake and fallen down the stairs, hitting my butt on every step.

Modern minimalism has its advantages - less things to clean and maintain, cheaper to build, and easily being able to find things to pair with the color scheme - but I always did find it a bit dull and sterile for a private home.
