I went stopped in Boston twice on vacation for a few days each trip. Aside from the white power shit that happens there I really liked it. It was filled with quaint little shops, the people were cool, the views were awesome, I got to huck a box into the Boston harbor. I would 💯 go back. Shit was a vibe.

On the flip side, I went down to Salem to do tours and stuff and I fucking hated it. The only cool spot was a pet supply place where they sold homemade treats and dog food along with toys and stuff. I was high as fuck petting their shop cat for line 20 minutes. Definite 10/10. If you’re nearby get fucking blasted and go pet this lady’s cat. She was super cool about me not wanting to come in and look around. Just wanted to pet the cat.

It was the New England Dog Biscuit Company. This was the cat. Go pet the fucking cat.

That’s what I’m saying. This is less manipulative capitalism and more customer experience. Volition has been a long standing company with a slew of awesome games. They did a ton with THQ like 20 years ago that were amazing.

Summoner is one of my favorite games to date. It didn’t age well, but the story was amazing.

The descent games were intense as well.

As for saints row, I beat 1-3. The storyline to the first was unmatched by any GTA storyline. It was a shame to see them slink away from the original due to ridicule of being a “GTA clone.” The story was compelling, the voice acting outside of johnny gat was decent. The multiplayer experience offered far more than anything GTA had at the time. The best we got for GTA was in 2008 when they released their free roam multiplayer with GTA 4. By then saints row 2 had full coop.

For those of you that don’t know, the car was manufactured as cheap as possible so the owner could use them to traffic cocaine. The stainless steel was a design choice to make it easier to cut off parts of the car to retrieve the drugs. The Wikipedia states that the first prototypes were carbon fiber but supply chain issues caused the car to be too expensive. They basically made the cheapest thing passable as a drug mule, sold it for some crazy price, and packed drugs into it.
