Serving ads is part of the agreed terms of services to use their product as a substitute for actual payment. Just as you may not want to see ads, does not mean that they should still provide you the service.
Not sure where all the entitlement comes from people wanting everything for free.
Does YouTube not deserve to charge for the goods and services they provide?
There are alot of services I choose to not pay and thus I don’t consume their services.
It’s all good to decide it’s not worth it and not pay, but that doesn’t automatically give people the rights to use the product in a way it’s not intended.
Have you tried disabling your ad blocker or paying for YouTube premium?
