Technically my first lemmy user was a couple months before, I’d followed a big reddit exodus around the time they killed third party apps, but I migrated to another instance a bit after that.

I don’t design web apps but I’ve heard from some that do that firefox occasionally has problems with them, because it relies a lot on caching (actually they used the term “aggressive caching”, with a few extra choice words).

Anyway, usually not a problem. I use edge only for work since it’s the default browser and I barely do any actual browsing with it, mostly light app clients. On my own devices, it’s been firefox only for years.

Few years ago I completed the pokedex on Gen 6/7, using transfers back from Gen 4-5. That was fun. Especially Black, the way they balanced content in BW felt very fresh IMO, and the sprite work is very nice in Gen 5.

I kinda fell off the series after USUM, didn’t care about Let’s Go, there was the “dexit” debacle, the whole “get used to not being able to get eveyone in one game from now on”. And then the absurdly bad performance/glitch reports in new episodes.

Pokopia is my only Pokémon-adjacent game since Ultra-Moon, and that’s mainly because I heard it was great and I liked Dragon Quest Builders 2. And, to be honest, it is a very cool game. I just finished the base game’s pokédex.

Still a good thing to keep documenting the many reasons why people shouldn’t use it in my book.

I was curious how you were supposed to configure the thing’s output… and of course it has to be a mobile app.

I’d prefer physical buttons I can check and change whenever like an actual old school power adapter.
