This is the primary reason the us military budget should go from 1.5 trillion to 0.5 trillion. If we shifted to drone dominance the cost would go way down, we’d have a stronger military, and we could use that extra trillion to pay down debt, fund more healthcare, share profits with US citizens, the list of possible amazing things is huge.

Will we do this? Maybe eventually but not while we have big strong dumbass in charge.

AI will make money, it’s currently in the make users happy stage which is the least profitable but most important lock in stage.

Stage two comes post IPO when they shift value from users to businesses. They will start printing lots of money at this point.

Stage 3 is where they start to squeeze everyone to their own benefit and start generating cash to the moon and everyone bemoans how they miss the old days of answers without product hints or other nonsense and husinesses miss the old days when they could do anything on top of AI that could make a profit.

Don’t worry, it’s coming, AI stocks are going to drop post IPO because of a surplus of hype and cash but mid to long term they will go crazy high as stage 2 and 3 come online.

This has happened so many times with new tech, it will happen again. Don’t bet against it.

Maybe there needs to be a rebellion not against government but the real overlords…

Ugh I’m so sorry. Tinnitus blows and in the more than 30 years I’ve lived with it I will say I’ve tried everything, spent all kinds of money on apps and gadgets and tests therapies of all kinds, and nothing works for me.

Maybe something will work for you, but the only advice I can share is do everything you can to protect your hearing from loud noises now to reduce the chances of getting more damage and making it worse. You only get one hearing capability and it doesn’t seem to regenerate and there’s currently no treatments to help it do that, so save what you have now!

I was an idiot in my 20s a loud concerts right next to speakers because it felt awesome, and I’ll pay the price for it till I die.
