That’s part of the disinformation campaign against competition for legacy auto and gas. There is a lot of money going into telling you the new option is worse…

We used to call them Ag-Nags (AGNG’s)… all gear, no game. It was a derogatory term, but it was more reserved for the type of person that would go buy the best gear and never invest the time to learn how to use it or why it had value other than the sticker price.
Go out and learn something new. Enjoy something new. If you have money to buy gear, that’s fine… but know that most people that pioneered whatever sport/hobby your delving into did a lot more with a lot less. Enjoy it for what it is and worry about the gear less… sometimes the squeeze makes the juice that much better.
Run this quick experiment for me.
Hold your toothbrush/phone/anything on your bathroom counter above the toilet, with the lid open, then drop it. Repeat the experiment with the lid closed.
Which one offered a more preferential result?
‘Hardly a difference’ and ‘no difference at all’ matters when it comes to ingesting doo doo particles. I opt for the absolute least amount possible… preferably none.
Hoocha, hoocha, hoocha…. Lobstah.
It did pass and is tied to performance of the company. He doesn’t actually get a 55B bonus. His bonus is in the form of stock, its award is tiered based on revenue-tied performance, and he can’t sell the stock until 5 years after it’s awarded, as to prevent a pump-and-dump incentive structure.
No, but he is finding out why twitter had all of its policies on combatting misinformation before he took over and gutted the staff… to prevent getting sued. You can say anything you want in America and the government can’t tell you that you aren’t allowed to say it, but you are still accountable for the damages caused by what you say… just ask Alex Jones.
But operating in other countries doesn’t afford the same protections from government scrutiny.
Disinformation campaigns are part of the reason social media is causing as much social strife in the world. It is not outside a logical line of thought that governments are going to attempt to minimize the damages from platforms like Twitter when they can. You may not beat misinformation, but you can minimize the financial incentive to promote it if you fine the fuck out of it when you find it.
Cognac is essentially distilled alcohol from grapes… think about using wine to make distilled alcohol. I’m not positive, but I think I t was originally a way monks thought they could preserve wine through distillation and reconstitute it back into wine at a later time, but turns out not to have worked like that. Once you boil off the alcohol and discard the mash, you don’t get the ‘wine’ part back.
It’s just a different base to ferment and distill into a hard spirit. Because it starts as a sweeter fruit than grains, like rye, wheat, or barley, it tends to have a sweeter flavor. It’s particularly nice as a warm drink in the winter, but a bit sweeter than bourbon.
The ‘making the food’ and ‘handing it to you’ is the price of the good. A tip is for how well they do that service and the atmosphere and experience they provide in the exchange.
If you have counter service and don’t clean up the table after me, there isn’t much opportunity for you to have good enough service to warrant a tip.
You don’t fuck with the Jesus, man…
Ha! They got you to declare it as an occupation. You better not miss a tax filing or you’re screwed… /s
Stretching. Good for flexibility, mobility, and you can combine it with meditation for an added mental health benefit.
I do some research online and watch a few videos for ideas.
Reading, stretching, hiking or just plain walking around the neighborhood or local parks, learning to cook and plan healthy meals…. These are all inexpensive and there is an abundance of free information available online. All of them encourage a healthy lifestyle, which will contribute to to good mental health.
You misspelled tax ‘scam’…
You also forgot that the first mover takes the heat, then all the other competitors quietly roll out the same feature with no or minimal backlash…
Not positive, but I think it’s a blend of canola, vegetable, and safflower oil. Whatever it is, it’s mild enough and mostly neutral to give the right flavor.
3-in-1 oil would be… unpleasant…
Man… I tried using all bacon grease as my fat when I made the roux…. That was a tough gumbo to get through. But canola with a bit of bacon grease is right. If you can find it, 1-2-3 oil in place of the canola is the tits.
People can’t seem to understand that it’s a tool in the early stages of development. If you are treating it as a source of truth, you are missing the point of it entirely. If it tells you something about a person, that is not to be trusted as fact.
Every bit of information you get from it should be researched and verified. It just gives you a good jumping off point and direction to look based on your prompting. You can drastically improve your results on any subject with good direction, especially something you don’t know a lot about and are starting out in your research. If you are asking it about specific facts you want it to regurgitate, you are going to get bad information.
If you are claiming damages from something you know gives false information, maybe you should learn how to use the tool before you get your feelings invested, so you can start using it more effectively in your own applications. If you want it to specifically say something that can grab a headline, you can make it do that, it’s just disingenuous and not actually benefiting the conversation, the technology, or the future.
They have a long way to go to solve AGI, but the benefits to society along the way outpace current tools. At maturity, it has the potential to change major socio-economic structures, but it never gets there if people want to treat it like it has intuition and is trying to hurt them as the technology starts getting stood up.
Nope. OTA. No need to change any hardware.
Try to understand that influencers and content creators are human beings and not infallible. I don’t think Mark or Derek are the greatest people in the world, but they are trying to put educational and entertaining content out into the world, and don’t seem to be malicious in intent.
Give them a break and see where they land down the road. If they turn out to be trash, judge em all you want. As someone that doesn’t spend the time and effort to pass my experience on to others, I’ll give them a bit of wiggle room on the politics associated with operating in the public attention economy.
I’ve been traveling all across the US in an EV and haven’t had any issues with range in the winter. Colorado mountains during ski season, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana in the spring. The built in navigation routes you to chargers based on current conditions and I’ve seen minimal range drop.
