  • Maccabi Tel Aviv fans are not the ones bombing Gaza

    You’re so close to self realization. Neither are the Arabs living in Amsterdam part of Hamas. Yet that didn’t stop these Israelis from burning flags, taunting people, saying horrible things like “Fuck Arabs” and causing trouble in the Netherlands of all places.

    Israeli people spewed venom, burnt palestinian flags and taunted amsterdam residents. You’re saying that retaliating is antisemitic. I say that’s bullshit.

    Remember how in post-9/11 America violence against Arabs residents and businesses skyrocketed, despite their only connection being country of origin, ethnicity, or religion? That’s what Jews around the world are experiencing because of Gaza - because of people like you.

    You seem to be manufacturing the racism by twisting what I said. I only said those who choose violence shouldn’t be surprised people are retaliating with violence. It’s not my problem that you incorrectly think people are retaliating because of your origin instead of your behavior.

    The behavior of the Maccaba Tel Aviv fans had consequences. Now Israel and the general media is trying to avoid talking about the behavior that started all this and deliberately focusing on the retaliation as if it happened because of the identities of the people.

  • The victim mentality is just in your head. Others just see an asshole who is burning down your flag and abusing you with death threats.

    You pretend as if your nationality is visible to people like a banner… but it’s not. It’s just your behavior.

    When you behave like an asshole and indulge in violence and spew hatred you expect people to respect your origin?

    Edit:

    Also: you should look at yourself in the mirror. These so called football fans were saying “Fuck Arabs”. You’re a hypocrite if you think this is ok, but then shomehow think Jews are targeted for being jews but not the threatening of Arabs and burning of flags.

  • I do the same… and i guess i am burnt out by lack of interesting and consistent work to do.

    aspects of my job I absolutely hate:

    1. Maintaining a DLL( or shared object) in a large piece of software where my team’s scope is so narrow that we are just a conduit between two other processes. bugs get introduced by behavioral changes from upstream or downstream.

    2. No real exiciting problem to solve.

    I learnt Compiler design, Complexity theory, Concurrency, Algorithms, etc in college. But I look at bad code that does if (boolvar) return 1; else return 0;

    1. Constantly get shuffled around on tasks by my manager who goes into panic mode if his supervisor asks about something.
