I am not downplaying the supreme engineering of the mars rover team, especially because there is no GPS on mars, but DJI has pre-programmed drone flights that work with their consumer drones, called missions.

Backpackers commonly book no accommodations ahead of time. I’ve done that plenty.

Arrive at airport. Get cab. Drive to hotel number 1 and ask about room. Drive or walk to hotel 2 and ask about room. Repeat as often as desired. Return to hotel with best deal.

I can’t count how many times I’ve done this, having zero specific plans about where I am going to stay. Sometimes I just take the first hotel and then on the next day go look for something better. This is totally normal backpacker behavior.

As somebody who was anti for a loooong time, 100% this. It’s a bad mindset, and it affects your wellbeing.

Fuckin seriously? We all know what backpacking is. I’ve never pre-booked an entire stay when traveling internationally except when it’s for work.

Second vote for bazzite. It’s been so great. It’s my 8 year old son’s first non-console experience and he’s loving it.

I’ve had zero problems with it. The only thing I’ve had to do is select the proton launch option using an easy-to-find gui setting. Everything else has been normal steam GUI stuff.

It’s also my first experience with an immutable distro, which has been interesting for me to learn about. Knowing about those details is completely unnecessary to run bazzite though.

Why do think this? I’m not aware of any shells that have such a feature. I’m not saying it couldn’t be done, but it would be a new feature.

Maybe you can show her those things and point out that those behaviors do not create healthy relationships. If she agrees with him, maybe her relationship is also not healthy, and should be limited.

Writing is a form of thinking, particularly on topics and information that nobody but you knows. If that form of thinking is beneficial to your wellbeing, then prioritize it.

This is tangent, but I think that AI is going to have negative effects on human psychology because writing something yourself as a way to think is better than having an AI write it for you and you just agree with it and edit it.
