Bazzite seems much better supported than Nobara, but both offer a Gnome variant, which has native support for onedrive.

I don’t know what you daily drive, but I used my laptop to trial Linux desktop environments and make sure I knew what I was doing before converting my main PC from Windows to Arch (btw)

What is the deal with niri? I keep hearing about it, and it seems to have supplanted hyprland as the cool kid on the block.
I’ve been using hyprland pretty exclusively for the past 6 months or so, but niri could be interesting.

3·1 month agoThis is why I always unplug the other drive before I install Linux, because the one time I didn’t I couldn’t boot the other OS anymore.
I didn’t format the wrong drive, but the Linux installer automatically detected the existing EFI partition and just overwrote it. Luckily, that was the only issue and I was able to recreate the EFI partition, and it taught me a lesson that I will never forget.

7·1 month agoI keep a portable jump starter/battery bank in the car, just in case. You can get one for ~100 bucks and for the one or two times I used it (on other people’s cars), it’s been totally worth it.

I have 3 servers that are all on some flavor of Debian, but Arch on my personal rig.
Stability where I need it for those always-on workloads, and the ability to fuck around as much as I want over in the corner.
