Trump and his crony “justices” wipe their ass with the constitution.

This is why it’s silly hearing billionaires, who do the most damage to our planet, telling us how urgently we need to “get off this rock” which has supported life for millions of years in favor of some dead planet. It’s really just an extension of capitalism that demands infinite space to exploit, instead of being content with sustainability.
They got ignored by the people they petitioned for help.
Anti-genocide protesters did more than just pick up a phone and call. We all saw the result.
Panic buying like this only leads to more price increases. I just buy the minimum, like usual.
Look at what atrocities hamas has forced the idf to do for over a year now!!! Seriously, I can’t believe you’re trying to make this argument at this point.
Somehow the same people who thought they could make the argument of “neither party will stop what is happening in Gaza, so vote based on other issues” don’t think israel already had a blank check. Now these same people are gloating as if the people of Gaza deserve to be genocided because the democrats didn’t win. It’s sick and it’s illustrative of what’s wrong with the “democratic” party.
Exactly. He already has his hand up the government’s ass and had been sucking off billions of dollars in subsidies and other benefits. This will only get worse, but apparently boosting musk is bipartisan, the two parties just differ in how much they want to give to him.
I have no confidence in Intel’s long-term prospects.
These fuckers are everywhere.
Break free from the solution they resorted to in the pursuit of profits? Too bad that backfired, but it’s okay since Intel can keep making subpar products as long as the government has their back.
With how much talk there is about China invading Taiwan, you’d think they have invaded it ten times already. Then again, maybe this excessive reporting is another “effort to contain frustration”.
None of the west’s enemies are afforded the same generosity. Maybe we don’t want the majority of guests to be a bunch of mindless parrots who only care about human rights when mainstream media from “their side” tell them to care (as an excuse to project power globally). It ends up permeating all discussions, even ones that aren’t directly about politics and you end up building an echo chamber. It shapes how you see the world, for example, you took a post talking specifically about western leadership to be about “convicting all of western civilization” as if the victim of the genocide is actually the west.
I’m more concerned with the threats from the people in charge of the system, but whatever gets them to the conclusion that it’s a bad idea is fine with me.
I dunno, apparently someone can support a genocide and still be considered a good guy these days.
Wait until you hear about the NSA. Hell, with all this talk about security threats, there is one stark example of israel planting bombs in pagers, but no one in the west is talking about banning technology coming out of israel.
We have to vote for hitler because worse hitler might win instead.
Now do israel.
Both. It’s kind of like asking if monarchy is the problem or if the problem is just evil kings. Theoretically even a dictatorship can work out well for the people given a benevolent dictator. The issue is with the vulnerabilities inherent in the system. For capitalism, it’s that those with more money have more influence and thus it creates a feedback loop where those with more money have more power to get themselves more money and therefore more power and so on.
I would get into fierce arguments on the internet to insist that we must vote for the lesser of two evils every election so that we get that dictatorship a little later instead of right now.
