  • Idk with a little organization we could easily drive that fear towards our own ends, protecting us from government and organized groups didn’t even more of our info.

Here in the United States we have achieved a number of things through referendums that our politicians would never do.

Like legalizing marijuana, my state of Michigan we ended gerrymandering by giving the drawing of legislative districts to an independent body as Arizona did before.

We have enshrined voting rights into the state constitution. Raised the minimum wage, although the lawmakers did rat fuck that through a quirk of our system that allows them to vote it in after it gets approved for the ballot but they cut the cost of living adjustment out of it.

A loophole we are trying to close but that effort got rat fucked as well so far.

We are working on ranked Choice voting right now.

  • Their judges have made a number of decisions ensuring guilty verdicts of those accused for protesting. Climate, environmental, and anti genocide so far.

One of which forbade the accused from telling their motivation after high profile acquittals on protesters they were tring to imprison for a decade or more.

The courts of the uk are not bystanders they are active belligerants in taking away the ancient rights of English Common Law.

The English had freedom of expression to a large degree centuries before the rest of the continent. Banned books were openly sold for instance. They were allowed to criticize their leaders to a higher degree.

  • $10? Jesus. Many of these big box or City grocery stores have always had really high prices especially on some Goods. All of the name brand cereals are especially High everywhere, Kellogg’s and Post Cereal are like twice as high as the generic brands. Which for things like Raisin Bran are about the exact same cereal. Granola is the only one I have noticed a quality difference on.

I sort of quit milk for the past 18 months or so but if I get back into it, whole milk in the winter tastes really good when you work outside, I might just make my own granola. And by 50 lb bags of grain if I can find them.

  • I am talking about the mid grade bread like 12 grain that I buy. The lower shelf is like Wonder Bread that is worthless where you could squeeze the entire loaf down to an inch. As to the mid-grade bread like the 12 grain or the whole wheat or other variants there is some nutritional value but it is also chock full of sugar and salt to disguise substandard ingredients and just to indulge our corrupted palettes.

Perversely most of the top shelf bread that is usually made by local bakeries is almost all white bread from refined grains. Although it may be the case that how the grain is grown leads to higher amounts of pesticides and toxic chemicals not removing the outer part of the grain but I don’t know on that specifically.

  • Relying on the automobile has made us exceptionally vulnerable. At any time our only means of achieving an income can be removed. We spend magnitudes more money than we could otherwise and everything from building infrastructure to support so many cars everywhere, to the cost of cars and repairs, too the ability of others to take that away from us at a moment’s notice.

With designed cities we could have housing on a direct line to our business sectors on a public transit, which would free up a substantial portion of our income, while if the housing was constructed intelligently and fairly we would free up the better part of half of our costs to live.

Also remote work could Free People from the commuting nightmare in White Collar work.

  • My price is for like 12 grain type of bread, not the Wonder Bread which is a little cheaper, the bottom shelf bread might be $250 to $3 at a big box store if not on sale, the better factory stuff is like four or five.

I was baking bread for a couple of years not even because of price specifically but because this factory bread is kind of garbage.

I hardly eat bread anymore or I still would. I cut out all added sugar as well. Almost any kind of processed food. Now if I eat something like factory bread it is a shock to my taste buds tasting all of the sugar and salt they load it up with.
