Another easy way to get veggies into your diet is to make salsa. It’s basically blended tomato with aromatics and chili.

I also like cooked vegetables so much more than raw and roasted vegetables with garlic is fairly simple to make.

I’m hoping you’re still young so that you have more of a chance to mature. You’re confusing necessity for stupidity and completely missing the fact that people need money to survive. My guess is that you grew up fairly wealthy so you never really had to consider that financial problems exist.

You even said something correct below in that avoiding the use of Microsoft is a privilege but I’m also guessing you don’t realize exactly what that means. It doesn’t make you intellectually superior to anyone, just that you’re lucky you’re in that position. Similar to how having enough money to not worry about grocery store prices or having no chronic diseases are privileges.

Part of being a good graphic designer is having enough empathy to connect with people so that your design goes through. Be better.

Since you’re using a laptop, I’d recommend some less demanding games. To check if your laptop can run specific games, use this site here. Below are a list of some I think you should be able to play:

• Stardew Valley: one of my absolutely favorite games ever. There’s so much to do and you play however you want. There are also a ton of mods for quality of life improvements, graphic changes, and expansions
• Portal 1 and 2: super fun puzzle games with a great story and memorable characters
• Skyrim: there’s a reason this game has become such a meme and had been released on every system for the past like 15 years
• Fallout New Vegas: this might be optimistic to run but it’s a great first person role playing game set in a post nuclear war apocalypse
• Terraria: like a 2D Minecraft that has a simpler crafting system and more boss fights. I actually prefer this to Minecraft
• Celeste: fun and challenging platformer. You will die a lot but the revives are so quick and the controls so smooth it isn’t too frustrating when you need to start over
• Balatro: card game where you make poker hands to attack your opponent
• Slay the Spire: another card deck building game but you use your cards to take turns attacking your enemies

There are some online games you could play too, but for beginners I would avoid them since the communities can be toxic. However, if you don’t mind, you can try out League of Legends (will run on a potato), Rocket League, or CS GO.

There are also emulators you can download to play old-school games like classic Pokémon or Mario. There are too many of those to list and it’s a lot more complicated to download and install. So I would recommend checking out videos on how to do that and what games/emulators people recommend.

Been playing video games pretty much all my life. Like with all forms of popular entertainment, there are so many genres that I’m sure there’s something out there for you. If you want, I can offer some suggestions based on what devices you own and what you’re interested in.

My local library. I hadn’t been to a library since I was in school, over 10 years ago now. Went recently with a friend to try 3D printing and was surprised how many services were offered entirely for free.

Others have made great points. I’ll just add that around next year, a Switch 2 with replaceable battery will be coming out for European consumers. If you live in Europe or are able to somehow get a Switch 2 from there, then that’s something to consider if repairablility is important to you. However, like others have said, waiting for too long will lead to price increases. I hate this time line.

I just don’t understand how this could happen for a company as large and established as dbrand. If it was just a guy doing 3D prints on Etsy I could understand. But this is a 14 year old company that has sold millions of product and has already had cease and desist complaints levied against them (the Sony PS5 Darkplates). Makes 0 sense.

Rakuen was a great game I bought on a whim last year and it was a great random purchase. Kind of similar to old school Zelda but without the fighting, just trying to collect items to progress the story.

Reminds me a lot of To the Moon which is another fantastic game but I think that one is a lot more well known.

For more general advice, you can view popular communities and join those since they’re more active. I think that’s the thing I miss most about reddit was that niche subs had more activity.
