The Maldives is a very small enclosed space. Whatever Island you go to, or resort you go to, there’s not a lot of diversity of things to do. You’re going to see everything very quickly, and most of your time is going to be " relaxing ".
If you’re in the mental space to be able to look past your ex-wife and their new husband. Go. Hang out with your son, go skiing, go fishing, crab hunting, paddle ball, anything.
If, however, even seeing your ex triggers emotions in you that you can’t control. That’s going to be a problem in a very small enclosed space.
Some people want too politicalize everything. They see it as a war. They see having a right side and a wrong side, and the truth is just inconvenient. It’s better to persuade people than communicate truth.
