You nailed it. I really don’t understand what is complicated about this either. I tend to believe a lot of older corporate Dems are intentionally keeping popular policies out of the mainstream but there appear to be quite a few well meaning Dems that can’t seem to figure this out. It is baffling to me.

I’m my experience it’s pretty uncommon for a CEO to struggle finding a new position no matter what transpired at their previous company. Golden parachutes and failing upwards are way more common

I feel like everyone talking about AOC in these terms is either just past voting age or so old that their memory of the Obama elections are gone. Everyone said exactly this kind of stuff about Obama in 2008. “America is too racist to elect a black president” was considered an unassailable fact and yet he won handily twice in a row.

America didn’t magically become less racist in those years. We proved that a progressive platform matters more than race. The same is true of gender. If you won’t learn that from history then support a progressive woman and learn it firsthand.
