Fair criticism! I don’t really care about the super logic bit (I’ve seen enough of that on Sherlock, Elementary, Psych, Monk, to a lesser extent White Collar, Bones, etc) that I just move over that as a cost of the genre. Sure, genius finds genius clue, plot progresses. It would be nice if they tightened it up as you suggest.

The novel interest this show has is that for the most part, they not only trust each other but don’t keep secrets when it would be cliche that they would and that Morgan is genuinely trying to improve her relationship with her kids and ex.

It’s a fun take on the Sherlock shtick, I enjoyed season 1

FYI, I added more in the base comment.

It’s two less syllables to say “April Fourth” than “The Fourth of April”.

That’s about the only advantage it has.

I was thinking about this grammatically. English is an Adjective first language where the modifying adjective goes before the base noun.

In my example, April is the adjective. It tells the reader what kind of Fourth it is.

It’s at least a kind of logic.

So both can be true. I’m not an expert in what’s going on, but here’s my take.

Even with Russia’s failings, they still have a manpower advantage and that’s what wins wars. Ukraine’s tech and ally help has helped slow the invasion, but it isn’t stopping it. It helps for morale and propaganda to show Russian troops as incompetent, but even fools can kill if they fire enough. And although they are running out of expendable manpower, they still have the ability to call on more.

I hope the new lifts on weapon restrictions help Ukraine. Again not an expert, just a person who subs here and reads the news occasionally
