I don’t mean to intrude or push in any way, but your story sounds familiar and I found Running on empty to be an interesting read, if you ever feel inclined.
Good luck.

They’re not talking about texting apps, it’s keyboards and speech to text engines that often have a profanity filter, which usually is on by default.
I disable it on everything every time I change phones or format, but not everybody tinkers with settings.
You probably default to a keyboard without profanity filter.
I like the fossify forks much better than the simple tools, I used to only use the gallery (and even for that I switched to Aves) now I have many of them as default. Dialer is nice, though the integration could flow better.
It sounds like that those therapy groups suck, honestly.
I’ve never tried groups, but I found a really amazing therapist so they exist, hope you find one who helps you.
Before that stroke of luck, I found a few books that helped me a lot with self sabotaging and other issues. If you’re interested, I could share.
Best of luck out there.
Have you tried the fossify dialer?
Their whole set of apps is nice.
One of them is definitely Sync, don’t know about others
How are they choosing the bear? Both of those are actively hostile towards women, they don’t just “go their own way” to chill with the bear
They seem to have banned it
If there was a choice to make, I would give up smartphones entirely without a thought
If you like arch based, may I suggest you try Garuda?
It’s a gaming distro, which I don’t know if you care about, but it’s very stable, should work with NVidia and has many quality of life features.
I had the same issue, you could try Lemmy Redirect (the github repo is named after the Mastodon proxy, but the Lemmy one is there as well), works for me.
That’s like saying medical research is a scam and citing Andrew Wakefield as a prominent exemple
I agree, and your guess is as good as mine.
While the solution seems flimsy at best, reading the article makes things a bit more complicated. As far as I can tell, what doctors are striking against is a raise in the admission numbers for medical schools, as they think it will worsen working conditions.
Major hospitals are struggling to provide services after thousands of junior medics handed in their resignations and stopped working last week to protest against government plans to sharply increase medical school admissions in the face of a rapidly ageing society.
Seoul says it has one of the lowest doctor-to-population ratios among developed countries and the government is pushing hard to admit 2,000 more students to medical schools annually from next year.
I think I’ll keep both and see which I enjoy best. Thank you for your explanation, it was appreciated.
Ah thank you, I’ll look into it
Is there a way beside Sync to tag people? It’s the feature I miss most in any other client, and the main reason I keep using that instead of an open source alternative.
I like URLCheck better, the graphics isn’t that nice but it works like a charm and you can set it to get rid of amp, redirect, anything you can script for basically
Since it wasn’t a direct answer maybe you missed this comment
I seem to remember a similar blunder as well, maybe it was DeSantis?
