That makes a lot more sense to a 'Murican like me coming from imperial.
Yeah, not sure how this isn’t near the top.

Jesus, this comment section is the sort of shit I’d expect from Reddit, lighten up, people!
Oh, do you support copyright abolition, then?
I appreciate you guys owning up to this, especially since a lot of people here seemed determined to ignore the actual issue and just start a redditesque circle jerk about vegans.
Can you people trying to restart the original argument take that shit elsewhere? This is a discussion about how to approach moderation.
People started arguing about whether cats can eat vegan, mods on c!vegan got involved, then an admin got involved. People’s personal feelings about veganism overtook any actual discussion about when it is or isn’t inappropriate for Admins/mods to step in, hence the pinned post on the front page.
I love how the same groupthink from Reddit like “vegans bad” made it way over here verbatim, to the point where an admin goes out of their way to censor them. I don’t have a dog in this fight, but this was some blatant bias.
Imagine the disaster we could’ve averted if they hadn’t shot Harambe.
I could go either way, but I don’t think “other platforms have public voting” doesn’t seem all that convincing. Who cares? I don’t care who voted on what, and I doubt most others do either.
While there are workarounds, leaving it as is at least weeds out the majority of trolls who aren’t technically inclined enough to go pull up A to see how B voted on C.
Zelenskyy went from being a comedian to clowning on Putin in only a few years.
Jesus, 56. Cancer sucks.
Having brain cells is satanic, evidently.
The effort people make to undermine education only shows how desperately it’s needed.
You ever been swarmed by mosquitoes in the snow? No? Case closed.
Oh hey, Microsoft support moving away from copyright!
