It’s definitely a gimmick these days. I think it’ll be a bit before dvd/Blu-ray sales drop significantly enough to warrant discontinuing.

There are still movies that get a VHS release, so I don’t see them completely abandoning disc media any time soon. Tons of people still use it to watch movies
When you have children, you don’t have spare time.
There usually needs to be a conviction before there’s a reward.
There’s just something about stairs that gets me. I can run a sub hour 10k, hike 15+ miles a day, and my resting heart rate is in the 50s, but stairs always get me winded.
That’s silly. 99% of the time, a drug addict is not fit to be a parent. Depending on the drug, even breastfeeding the baby will cause it to OD. It’s perfectly reasonable to get child services involved if the mother tests positive for illicit drugs.
Now, what’s ridiculous is getting child services involved because a patient tested positive to a drug you gave them, unless there’s other obvious signs of drug abuse.
One of the considerations should be, “I just gave this person a drug and they tested positive afterwards.”
Unless there’s other evidence of active drug use, the only assumption should be that it’s positive because of the drugs you gave them.
It’s also two different news agencies.

They do design and build good shit, but with the prevalence of cheap options buying small kitchen appliances isn’t seen as a major purchase anymore.
But, there were absolutely garbage products in the old days. The whole, “they don’t build them like they used to,” bit is based on survivorship bias.
If you want to pay $500+ for a coffee maker that will last decades, you can absolutely still do so.
The problem is that housing prices rise due to a shortage of homes, and a big issue is that there’s not enough land in populated areas to just build more housing.
There also has to be the illusion that something is happening. Take websites for example. After about 3 seconds on a blank screen, the length of time starts to be noticeable. If you throw a loading screen up, then 30 seconds becomes much more reasonable.
I think they were being facetious and support telling everyone about jury nullification.
Once I had a dream where I was driving down the street in a canoe, and there was a goose in the road. I hit the goose which then exploded in a shower of minnows, at which point I woke up and thought, “Jesus, try to figure that one out, Freud.”
Immediately. I doubt they were ever going to leave the country.
Huh? Dns and ipv4 are two different things. You’re probably thinking of NAT.
