I use the search engine to determine which network and channel has what I want. Usually it’s the same bot too. Then if the send command offers the wrong item, I just have to !s to figure out what the current pack # is.

I don’t think there can be a good search engine due to bots constantly reorganizing their offerings instead of just incrementing their list to add a new package.

But if anyone does know a good index that can keep up with the bot’s changes, I’d appreciate it as well.

Ah, it’s a practice that’s sometimes done in software engineering teams. One key point is that one person in the pair is at the keyboard and the other person is reviewing their work, providing suggestions. I’ve never tried it with two people at the keyboard… but it looks effective… 😏

It depends on the instance, but you can check https://lemmy.world/c/support for example posts in which the same request is made under the same circumstances. If the community in question isn’t on lemmy.world, the process may be different. But reaching out to the instance admins is the first step.
