I was in contact with one of the organizers and he assured me that there will be no one trying to sell tokens or stuff like that. It is more about exploring if and in what ways crypto technology could be used to support the commons and new way of grassroots/community-led organizing. Personally I’m skeptical about it but I guess it is better to have people with a leftist perspective in the space rather than cede it to the right-libertarian people.
