I had to switch Mastodon instances because of leftist infighting.

There are no Taco Bells in my country but if this aired i’d take a flight to go burn one down.
The owner of my laundromat claims that it’s cheaper to do your laundry there than at home. At first i thought “of course a laundromat owner would say that”, but then he argued that his machines are more efficient than the ones we buy and that they are collectively heated.
I still think he’s fulll of shit because he only argued about energy costs, not including his rent taxes or profit; but it did get me thinking that it would be cheaper and more efficient to wash our clothes collectively.
I hear you, but unfortunately your username ends in .ml
I think we overrate the ability of the government to change the living conditions in a country. The government is only one factor among others, such as technology, geography, ecnomics, history, climate, and the accumulation of small choices made over decades.
Yeah, but everyone else around him does have clear goals and plans that they do want to accomplish. And they’re prepared this time, whereas they were kinda caught by surprise in 2016.
I don’t know, but Linux’s reputation is that it can probably be modded out.
Currently writing from a Mint laptop, works perfectly with minimal setup and no command line whatsoever, the only annoying thing is that the caps lock key behaves differently. Though Linux’s reputation is that it can probably be modded out.
I also installed Diodon to recover the cool clipboard function that Windows has.
I could probably get the customizeable start menu, but i actually don’t miss it that much
I mean it’s a known fact that WASPs rule the media.
I upvoted them.
It got yeeted from our vocabulary
I’ve never really been able to leave my zits alone, if i see one and don’t pop it i can’t stop thinking about it. So yeah i’ve been popping my zits into napkins since always and it’s kinda fine, it wouldn’ be fine if i got more though.
That’s my skincare routine in its entirety.
You may not know that you’re at the TOP of the leaderboard, but you probably have a pretty good idea that you drink a lot of tea.
Which is why this policy usually goes by maximum income or income cap
Lemmy is an improvement over Reddit in terms of its business structure. We don’t yet know what the downsides will be of decentralized social media at scale, but we know that it beats a tech company that went from venture capital to publicly traded while already deep in enshittification.
Lemmy is not an improvement over Reddit in terms of design: it’s designed the exact same way, so it has the same set of advantages and disadvantages.
The improvement in community is hard to guesstimate, and will change as the site grows. Aside from the company, it was often the users that made Reddit suck, and Lemmy is completely capabe of sucking in the exact same ways.
I think so too, but like i said there’s only so many computers that you can find a use for.
I think. That wasn’t a challenge, don’t prove me wrong
I was kind of on board with that idea, but now i’m100% on board
I had the exact same reaction and i don’t trust that sentiment, i think i’m just hoping for a singular miracle pill that i can take and it will solve all my issues.
Still thought it was worth a try but even getting an appointment with a psychologist of any kind was tough, so here i am still unmedicated even though i relate to a lot of ADD symptoms
It’s like a graveyard of companies that Microsoft has acquired over the years. Sharing files is one brand name (Sharepoint if i recall), making video calls is another name, planned events is another - every function has a brand name to it, which made me feel like these were the last remaining trace of long-absorbed companies.
But that’s just my recollection, i haven’t touched Teams since Covid
