I only ever saw my father cry once: When the state took a foster child out of our care and returned it to a set of parents who were junkies. Now, in his old age, he wishes he’d been more emotionally involved with his children, and he can’t turn back the clock and fix it.

A man should cry whenever they need an emotional release. Period.
