I wonder what Russia would do if Ukraine worked out a deal with Romania so Ukraine can ship the grain via land to Romania. Then the grain can be loaded on ships and sent out.
It would present a significant bottleneck. Ships are much more efficient carrying goods, not to mention the time wasted loading and unloading the trains.

Indeed, 60,000 tons of grain would require about 6 100 car trains OR 1 ship
From what I’ve read, they have and they can, but the trains can only transport much smaller loads.
