Nature also made a creepy looking naked monkey with no tail that walks balanced on its hind legs and which is completely helpless for months after the premature birth necessitated by its grotesquely swollen disproportionate head size.

Nature also has animals that happily have gay relationships and plenty of species where the male and female roles don’t even come close to lining up with judeo-christian values. Just like actual history it only looks that way when you have a legion of biased researchers making sure it looks “correct”.

Nature has rules, boundaries, and predetermined roles.

But that’s just not true. There’s no such thing as a predetermined role. That’s the whole process of evolution. Nothing is predetermined. Things move and change, often in ways that seem nonsensical at first. For example, many species have switched back and forth between carnivory and herbivory throughout their ancient history. And even today many animals which we call herbivores will take advantage of a quick snack of meat. Both deer and horses have been observed doing this.

If you start with a false statement, of course you’ll get a wacky conclusion.

Pretty much Anthropic Principle for biology. The evolutionary niches that led to us are the only ones we believe possible because they’re the only ones we can observe.
