Although if such a community already exists, then please give a link if you have one.
I would like to create a community where people can express their bad feelings or feelings in mini-stories and even get praise or support as an “Art Share🎨”, expressing their soul however they want, without stupid fan services and stuff, is it a good idea or not?

i have this idea that communities should be created due to some actual pressure… as a solution to a group needing a home away from some general purpose stream… like when star trek memes took over the main memes channels and thus, required that signal be extracted into its own community…
you cant just build a community and hope the content creators will come… they must already need a home.
But if even one lemmy user finds this community and starts writing as a result, it’s an impact.
Induced demand also applies to social media. Having a dedicated community for something can cause people who had not thought to post something (because there was no dedicated community for it and they don’t want to risk putting it in a community where it doesn’t fit) to post.
Related, I really think we could use a /c/whatever community, for creative works and posts that don’t fit into any existing communities. It will also serve as a good place to assess when a community should be created, since you can just see what a lot of people are posting.
But it seems that first I need to decide where to build this house, since this instance is not quite reliable, there are too many rules that are stifling.
But I’ll try, maybe something will work out.
I agree! I also think that growth should be based on this pressure rather than willy-nilly, so as to increase activity in more generalised communities, and so that smaller communities can start with a sizeable userbase.
