    I’ve always made my stuff from scratch in Photoshop. Meme formats are very simple so they’re easy to create with just basic knowledge. If you don’t have Photshop, there’s Photopea, a very good free online Photoshop clone.

      Thanks for the photopea link! I’m probably looking for something that works on a phone so I can do it at work, in transit etc. But for more interesting 'shops photopea seems great!
