Perhaps they aren’t killed in the same numbers in Ukraine, but mass kidnapping and relocation to Russia is pretty shit too.
Maybe all war is horrible, and should be used as a very last resort to save civilian lives. Maybe people should just be allowed to live their lives in peace.

I would imagine the genocides in Bosnia or Rwanda were worse… but are they counting that as “modern times”.
Yes those are worse using their deaths per day metric, but they don’t seem to be going before 2008, or looking at civilian on civilian.
