Could be the case, I’m not sure. I live outside the US in a country where I don’t need to use one. Maybe I’m ignorant but Streamio isn’t like direct torrenting—afaik you don’t need a VPN at all, unless you require one for your entire connection regardless.

Strange, I use TorBox fine and pay the $5 a month but tbh Torrentio almost renders it pointless. I’d just use that. I don’t know anything about SurfShark.

Just on my laptop mostly. Never really tried the other apps since I mostly set it up because I travel a lot.

I use it every day and haven’t had any issues. I use Torbox and Torrentio. I don’t want to downplay your problems but it’s pretty solid for me. I’d say maybe once every couple weeks I’ll get some glitch where it shows there’s no seeders when I know for a fact there are. Other than that, it runs without issue.

Glad your fix worked though. I’ll keep it in mind if I ever run across anything.

I plan to do the same. How do you like the 9 Pro with Graphene? Any hiccups or deficiencies? I’ve never used it before so I’m going in blind.

I plan to use a Pixel 9 with Graphene, but plan to buy one used from a private party. You’re still inadvertently supporting Google but at least less directly. I’d never buy something new from them.
