I think he should only let the hair grow back over the skull’s jaw.
Complicated to answer properly but I think that on the whole religion offers a good package. There’s so much variety though and of course not everyone who identifies as religious is sincere; all institutions are attractive for those looking to exploit their influence, whether it’s a religion, government, business etc. I’m interested in the social, moral, philosophical and spiritual aspects of religion but I’m also a bit allergic to institutions and am not humble enough to fit into the sorts of hierarchies that most religions seem to insist on.
Yeah, the ideal amount of content to consume is probably zero. I’m starting to think that the best use of any kind of feed is news about very specific things you want to know about on time and literature which is released in installments.
I have no problem with that - on Pixelfed I can choose what to see. I agree though it would be a cool bonus to have a fourth option to see all Pixelfed posts.
Most posts on my instance’s local feed right now are from new accounts and 99% of them are photography and art. I saw one guy doing a typical poser selfie and just blocked him. It’s looking good.
I encourage people to report any spam that does get posted though. Need to keep Pixelfed nice.
Lots of great artists are on Mastodon instances, like mastodon.art. Including their image posts means you can see some really good paintings.
I use Newsboat on desktop and Feeder on android. Both are foss 👍 If you dont want to use the terminal for desktop I would just use whatever is suggested for the desktop environment you use.
Excellent post. I hope everyone reads this.
I’d like to reinforce your point about RSS feeds. I think that being in control of the amount and type of information that infiltrates your thoughts is a form of privacy that we all we need to exercise.
For those who don’t already know; one great thing about the fediverse is that you can follow hashtags via RSS. You can literally only see the things you want to see, if you want to!

It means we’re winning.
Yeah I agree. I understood them being deliberately vague during the campaign to reduce their attack surface but I thought they would come out swinging with loads of progressive bills after they won. I find the whole situation depressing tbh. Politicians have over-specialised in fighting elections to the point that they have don’t have it in them to govern.
Depressing. This is how deeply invested the markets are in our continued failure. They are like those lazy chefs on kitchen nightmares, sitting around out the back and taking their wages home while the business crumbles.
I’m sure it will be microsoft. They have the NHS in their pocket already and extract hundreds of millions from it.
Own goal.
The quality of this post is the third and unseen character; the driver of the bus who is getting on with they have to do and making the best of it.
I’m unable to help with this but am curious: how are you finding the ultra 7 on Fedora in general? And have you been able to make use of NPU?
I can’t remember it’s name but I stumbled across a good instance with lots of musicians doing live performances in their studios/rooms. If anyone knows where to find it again please reply here!
The guy at the end of Hotline Miami was pretty tough.
