You shouldn’t have to pay for something which there is no scarcity of. A haircut takes time and effort, so you should pay for it. Food is not unlimited, so you should pay for it. Software can be duplicated an unlimited number of times, so you should not have to pay for it. That’s just giving people passive income.

No, they can’t. The fediverse doesn’t work like that, it isn’t controlled by one entity, the most individual instances could do is defederate from Reddit.
It looks incongruous with Android’s design, but I still like it. It’s nice to have variety.

I’m currently using wefwef to reply to you, I use them both interchangeably, but Connect has more formatting options in the markdown editor, whereas Wefwef expects you to just remember how to format anything in markdown. Both experience errors constantly.
Connect is working the wellest for me
Even if what you’re saying is true, and nowhere exists on Earth where there is a high quality of life, it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t aim to get there.
The difference is that you can’t choose your skin color, but you can’t choose your beliefs in a different way.
