On the same note as others here recommending instrumental jazz, I also listen to a decent amount of international. Not understanding the language helps me to not be distracted by it. So there’s an endless wealth of interesting music in the Sublime Frequencies catalogue and it just drifts into the background for me unless I actually choose to focus on it.
