According to Steam Hardware Survey Linux is over 2% of Steam Users. This puts Linux way ahead of Mac which supported by Epic
RmDebArc_5@sh.itjust.worksOPto Games@sh.itjust.works•Epic reduce their cut to 0% for the first $1 million in revenue for devs on the Epic Games StoreEnglish33·1 month agoSteam is, in my opinion, way better for the user (even if it may be worse for the developer).
Epic lacks features that are important to me like reviews, the ability to view your library in a browser, warnings about DRM, Linux support, a hole bunch of features to discover games, a workshop, big picture mode.
Additionally, in my experience at least, their official launcher under Windows is a buggy mess compared to steam.
At that point you might as well not have a kernel level anti cheat and companies who insist on kernel level anti cheat will block wine. The only solutions I see are
- Developers mainly use server side anti cheat
- They make native Linux games
- Distros provide a way to ensure a untainted (signed) kernel
- Alt account is probably the way to go
- A commonly used image host is blocked in a bunch of countries (https://files.catbox.moe/) check if you can open this site
- They are separate communities, kinda like politics and politics2 on Reddit. They don’t aggregate jet but that option is WIP. My tip is go with communities not on Lemmy.ml and hexbear.net due to some questionable moderation in a bunch of communities on those
I’d like to know if this is just a firmware update or unfixable, but sadly this seems just an ad rather than news

Don’t know if there is something LinkedIn like though

Edit: It was a golden calf
RmDebArc_5@sh.itjust.worksto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Is CruchyRoll still the 'best' paid anime streaming service to use in the U.S.?28·3 months agoAFAIK they bought their only real competition (funimation). Regarding recommendations: I personally find piracy streaming sites have the best recommendations, I mostly use them just for recommendations and don’t even watch there, also you could take a look at !anime@ani.social, specifically the recommendation threads
Yes, but that would require that everywhere else there are bright lights
Email client or provider? For client I’d go with thunderbird for provider mailbox.org or Tuta, or maybe proton (but mainly the first two).
As the other comment mentioned, this isn’t the community, I’d check out !privacy@lemmy.dbzer0.com (asklemmy also may not be the right community, it’s explicitly not a support community)
Yes, the one where they talk about this not being Trumps fault even though he is the fucking president and about all terror the right experienced under the previous administrations
Also their announcement to stop posting on Mastodon and this blogpost

I think the main problem is they don’t want to maintain multiple accounts
Just FYI your spoiler ain’t working. I think you need to need to remove the : after spoiler and put a new line after reality
I was talking about written reviews, not just a like/dislike (star) system
