I thought the idea was that Republicans are actively working on destroying what has been working fine and is benefitting lots of people, not just on preventing more progress.

AI PC sounds like something that will be artificially personal more than anything else.
Or you could say night is the anomaly, because most places in the universe are stars.
Nighttime is absence. You could say most of the universe is absence, but most matter is stars.
Seriously, because she’s from a different universe, her actions of committing genocide and torture across any number of star systems are irrelevant?
If Starfleet doesn’t care what people do “in their own space”, how could they ever have a problem with anything? Just declare yourself a ruler, obviously democracy doesn’t play into it, and you decide what you can do anywhere you are.
You mean part of a single episode.
No. They kept her around like she wasn’t someone who should be imprisoned for life, far removed from any position where she could manipulate others.
If they wanted to help others, there was a universe full of people more deserving. Two, even.
Not to mention the fact you say after TNG that the older style was dead as if Voyager doesn’t exist.
Yep.
Lucky they made DS9 before TNG had even finished, then.
We didn’t really get more of the TNG side of things with the TNG movies. Then they moved on to JJA Star Trek, which wasn’t much of anything, not dark, not utopian, just references.
While Discovery was in part based around rescuing an ultra-fascist from another universe.
It took bringing back Picard himself to approach doing what they once did decades ago. And I guess not let the actor have too much say over the script, if that’s what messed up the movies.
Dogs mostly chose to live with us, and many have the ability to survive without us.
Wolves did, or whatever mutated variant it was, and then we created a whole bunch of different breeds. Some of them might be able to survive. Some of them can’t even breed on their own, because humans are idiots.
Cats understand that humans are a factor, and decide to work around that factor.
That’s basically how they live with humans in the first place, they’re not properly domesticated, just happens that they can live with us.
I’d say if we were to abolish libraries, we should abolish copyright as well, because they serve the same purpose. Copyright is an artificial barrier, a social contract to promote sharing ideas and creative works. There’s nothing inherent about copyright, it doesn’t exist if we don’t want it to. So why should we want it to?
Should be illegal. Same as unpaid internships. Pay workers or don’t be a business.
Their options are pack up and leave, or throw down their weapons and surrender.
People paid 23andMe to give them the data in the first place. Should be illegal to profit off of other people’s data if they’re not getting paid for it.
While it’s sad to see all these games begin to die a slow death, in reality, many of these titles are incredibly old and on last-gen platforms such as Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3.
Yet much older games are still playable without functionality loss.
You don’t need upgrades to online services. You need to stop locking down games.
I find it easier to do it the other way around. Pirate all the games, then buy them when they’re available DRM free.
Technically I own some games on Epic, but I don’t install from there.
Should have them in the West Bank as well, ensuring Palestinians’ homes are safe, if the goal is long term stability and growth rather than the subjugating status quo.
Still seems way overpriced. Doesn’t even have name recognition anymore.
I’d argue fossil motorcycles should be banned before fossil cars. If it’s about riding with nothing between you and the ground, an electric MC will do plenty. Otherwise, cars serve the same need.
Fine the manufacturer for each incident with each vehicle and make them recall and fix every one to stop it. Unless it’s the result of someone modifying their own vehicle, then you seize the vehicle and suspend their license.
A monopoly trying to lock in browsers isn’t going to last in the EU.
Absurd that pointing guns at people to get fake support would be seen as any more legitimate than just having the soldiers do the fake voting themselves.
