I think it needs to be a set of glasses and we need better battery tech before that can really happen. Solid state batteries will be needed since their energy density is so much higher. As a low vision user i can think of an immediate use as a magnification device. Actual magnifiers dont work well for me but software magnification does. Therefore i could magnify my surroundings to read signs, etc.
Preaching to the choir, but sing it. I am getting my money out of the dollar just as fast as i can so when the ship sinks i wont go down with it. I will give away my dollars while some other poor sap still values them. I can take out small dollar based loans against my crypto too because it will be easier to pay back the loan in the future thanks to inflation devaluing the dollar.

Right, but “low risk” is not “no risk” and will not grow your wealth as most “low risk” investments do not keep up with inflation. You are just losing money slower than you otherwise would.
The problem is inflation forces you to take risk just to keep the value of your money the same. If a person doesnt want to take risk they should not be forced to do so. People who wanted to grow their wealth but understand the risks and decide to take them would invest.
A good thing would be a net inflation of zero. A little deflation or a little inflation is not a problem. If your money 100 years from today is still worth the same you hace a good balance. Look at monero for example. It is inflationary as there will always be 0.3 monero per minute created. However some will get lost due to lost keys, etc. Also, as the supply increases that extra 0.3 monero becomes less and less of the total. So its asymtotically zero.
It is crazy to think that a loss of our moneys value is to be expected and normal. If we used a hard currency such as silver then “inflation” would not be a problem as govetnmyths could not print more at will and devalue the peoples holdings. Governmyth is totally to blame for poverty through taxes and inflation
Part of bitcoins volatility is very much due to liquidity and market depth. The price swings are large to be sure, but in terms of percent swings bitcoin is becoming more stable. In the early days a 95% drop would be considered normal and expected. Now it may still move by 60% but it does so over months and not days like it used to be.
Just make bitcoin or something the currency as a move like that would seriously increase the liquidity, dampen price moves, and be the best middle finger to the US and G7/IMF
