This is crazy but Pornhub’s response to this is pretty funny. They don’t like the new law. But instead of taking it out on lawmakers they take it out on their users. And throw other porn sites (who are in the same business to help advocate) under the bus too. This can’t be a smart move.

Nice, I use Inoreader. And openrss.org and rss.app for websites that dont have RSS feeds.

I’ve been able to get pretty much everything I want to follow on the internet in my RSS reader. I even subscribe to Lemmy communities in my RSS reader instead of on Lemmy directly 😆

People should use RSS feeds more. They give you much more control over the content from websites you frequent and you easily avoid doomscrolling. There are even RSS feeds for Lemmy communities.

We can’t control what other people post on these sites. But we can control whether or not we want to listen.

Definitely. I use RSS feeds for everything I follow on the net these days. Shopping sites, movie listings, Github repos (I’m a dev), forums, etc, . I even use RSS feeds to follow Lemmy posts and comments instead of using the feed here on the website. And if a website doesn’t have an RSS feed, I generated one using rss.app or check to see if it’s available on openrss.org.
