I once made friends with someone on a furry discord server, they were seemingly very altruistic person, gave away quad digit numbers away to charitable causes, had a loving family, friends irl and online, wasn’t a shut-in, paid attention to studying, alright grades.
Then I met their partner who happily shared some of the most conservative views I’ve heard, with me, unprompted. Makes it difficult to trust anyone.
I think there’s a decent proposition you could offer to people, who either don’t want to study theory or do that much praxis (which is a bit misleading because they’re both praxis) and that is to build a strong party structure.
100 people going into their own adventures and randomly forming parties, with similar ambitions, is good. It’s additive forces. A highly organized group of 10 cadres functioning in lockstep is excellent. It’s multiplicative forces.
Not only that, but each of the cadres can take command of the semi-organized adventurers. But the tricky part is I don’t know how to propagate this better, in our current environment. For instance, there’s a decent argument to be made how neo-liberalism erodes ones sense of self, which makes teaching alternative viewpoint really difficult. I hear a lot of talk about the problems of illiteracy, but we also have to remember the masses have been alienated more than ever. Of course it depends on the country, all of them are different, but in the “West” in the core countries of Empire the masses are very alienated and illiterate. At least from my experience, but it could be wrong too.
Maybe the material conditions simply make it impossible to bring the theory with praxis together, for now. It’s hard to imagine there to not be at least one decent group who knows how to do this, but they probably lack the means, would be my guess. Hopefully in the future that gets resolved.
I suppose there’s some truth to it. It’s very difficult to navigate context in post-modern meme culture. Like the words “Death” and “America” could mean anything depending on the context. It also doesn’t accomplish much if I make fun of an abuser without stepping in to stop them, many radicals say the “right” things and don’t actually do anything. Which is really not much different than someone getting a dopamine rush anything else. So there’s time and place for everything imo.
What I really don’t like is the implication, from the libs, that if the so called “3rd world” showed better optics, that USA would play ball.
And many of the countries did try to play ball. Look where it has landed now… So much for optics.
They’ve figured this out, the most advanced way to advertise something to you is without you even thinking about it. Because the commons aren’t collectively owned, it’s the ones with the most money who advertise to you the most. It’s why they don’t really care about you using adblock.
They’ve already paid for the place in your life and the only way to escape them is to disconnect from society at large. Or maybe one day change it.
What have you actually done to support anything besides ideas? Are you actually making choices in life or are you playing life like a video game, where others design it for you and all you do is pick between what they let you?
Please, at least for the simple sake of self-preservation, can you not look at who is behind Trump, all those billionaires, do you really think they would allow for an Asset to rule over their country? Seriously?

If you keep letting other people decide how to live your life someone will take advantage and they will make sure there’s nothing you can do to stop them, nothing but complain on the internet about how miserable your lie is and how other people need to fix it for you.
