Holy shit me too! Ate bananas all the time, then suddenly around 25-27 they gave me neusea. I loved bananas. :(

Also, applesauce burns my tongue now.

These are my only 2 food allergies I’m aware of.

I heard it might be because of my latex allergy. Apparently allergies can generalize and get worse over time (。╯︵╰。)

Funny, but this is opposite. The drawings head is the bananus. You hold it by the handle and open the square end.

    Everyone should learn this earlier.

If I hear “bUt MoNkEyS oPeN tHeM fRoM tHe BotTom” again I will shit a semi truck. Wild monkeys do not eat bananas. Why would monkeys be the authority on bananas?? Because they are depicted that way? Would you ask a mouse how to eat cheese because they are drawn as cheese fans in cartoons? Well no, they eat fruit and grain and shit. Humans created the Cavendish banana. Monkeys were not taken into consideration when we frankensteined modern bananas together.

I peel the banana from the other end so the bananus is at the top. It tastes different that way.

If you want to follow them on Mastodon, here ya go A merry-looking banana is giving us a lecture. “Hello children. I am banana person, here to teach you about BANANAS!” “And lucky for you, there are only two things to know!” He puts two fingers in the air. “Wow! Only two” pops up beside him. Thing #1: “This is the body of the banana. You may eat this.” An image of a banana with a checkmark appears, with the “yum” zone defined as the top 95% of a banana.Thing #2: “This is the anus of the banana,” aka “the bananus.” DO NOT eat this. An X mark appears over the little nub at the bottom of a banana. The banana gives a fierce expression, pointing at us. “NEVER eat the bananus.” The banana moves closer, pointing directly at us, his eyes wide and serious. “Don’t do it.”

You can eat the skin — it makes a good vegan pulled pork base (lots of recipes online).
