How does a certificate prove that I know how to solve a problem and that I’m resourceful thanks to my software engineering degree and experience?
I’ve been coding software in Java and C# and Python for years. Why do I need a good damn certificate to prove it? Meanwhile some dude who just happens to be good at studying and passes the exam gets the job but can’t solve the problems.
How about dropping certification requirements in IT?
Certifications are a fucking money grabbing scam.
