Modern science too, if the question is big enough.

I feel like all science is like this to an extent

Like, chicks get breast cancer a lot. Is it the estrogen? Let’s put some of that in a mouse and see what happens

Of course modern researchers are more interested in like “MSRB acrolase enzymes” or whatever, but same diff

Let’s think of some differences. Cars have license plates and steering wheels.

There’s one angle that I feel like we’re not acknowledging: maybe it’s something in the house that makes it not go. Sinks, or perhaps beds?

Hmm, that can’t be it either. I’ve seen caravans with beds and sinks and they go.

It’s the hood that does it. Houses don’t have hoods. Well, lots of houses can make up a hood but i think that’s different.

Having recently lived through a hurricane and can vouch that houses, can, in fact, go.

I knew it wasn’t that simple. Some more research is definitely required.

Did your house have a radio? I’m working on a completely new hypothesis.

Seagulls have wings and can fly. Ostriches have wings and can’t fly. So it’s not the wings that make the seagulls fly, it’s something else entirely.

This is in a way true. If ostriches weight less or had bigger wing area (like, absurdly large), they would be able to fly. So it isn’t the wings per se as you say. Interesting.

Cars have rubber bladed things that automatically clear water off of some of the windows but houses do not.
