Reddit was popularized especially for mobile mostly due to third party apps. Reddit didn’t have a mobile app for the longest time for some reason or another, so rif, Baconreader, Apollo, etc. All brought people in.

Reddit is biting the hand that feeds, and they’ll probably get away with it. They wouldn’t even be where they are without those apps. Traitors.
