I’ve been thinking about getting some stuff from my childhood again. I recently watched We’re Back on YouTube and while the movie is not great, it has a great charm, which has been making me think of getting the VHS tapes I used to have as a kid.
Aside from that movie, I’m also thinking of getting The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars, Anastasia, The Jungle Book, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
I was recently sharing Lemmy to some people and how the entire Reddit blackout is stupid considering everything the platform has done in the past and the mindset of the CEO.
Someone brought up Voat and they were lamenting how that failed, and I decided to check out the WayBack Machine captures for it, and Christ, nothing but antisemitism and racism.
Actually seems like a cool idea for an app to explore new areas of the city or whatnot.
What would really help with giving people better internet access is giving people a public option for the telecoms. See SaskTel in Saskatchewan and Alberta Government Telephones before Don Getty privatized it.

I never really followed anybody on Twitter, but the Mastodon art community is incredible. Some artists I followed there are Galmesh Rosewood, Misnina, and Milady de Winter.
