Mine’s okay, the two little contact idea they had is finicky but a little jiggle and it’s good, I do keep the contacts clean, little rubbing alcohol.

I use a Surface Pro 6, I know of a guy with an 8 on Fedora. Mine’s on Cachy with Gnome.

Keep your OS updated, make regular backups, use full-disk-encryption, and nuke and pave whenever things get cluttery. You’ll be alright.

Buy a single-board x86 or ARM PC with more than one ethernet port on it and install openwrt, or opn/pfsense on it depending on your sensibilities and enjoy.

I use an OpenWRT ONE router, it’s a BananaPi with OpenWRT on it.

Update and reboot regularly, don’t get behind.
