The future is mobile homes/RVs [climate change]
Hurricane coming? Make like a turtle and migrate (lol). Severe snow storm, floods, etc migrate Afaik, the earth was lot warmer during dino times, but dinos just migrated seasonally to better areas. Floods and whatnot are largely nerfs directed at humans structures. I heard that climate proofing housing is quite difficult, bc even like powerlines are damaged by events. Meaning it might be easier to work remotely from an RV. Thoughts?

Why don't privacy apps directly market themselves to the activist crowd?

Do we have any sublemmies designed to cater to bigger social medias? Ex findasubreddit, but on lemmy?
cross-posted from: https://lemmy.perthchat.org/post/192633 > Ex findasubreddit, but on lemmy. So instead of posting to like r/findasubreddit, one posts to c/findasubreddit and uses that to find a subreddit. > > Since, imo, esp for niche topics, the lemmyverse isn't big enough to stand on it's own. But the lemmyverse could still reduce the number of posts to say reddit. > > Prob possible to use it for like other platforms, like follow for follow instagram hashtags.

Has anyone else noticed who is and who isn't interested in identity politics?
Not sure if it's [pareidolia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pareidolia) or whether it's an actual thing. In the west, the majority group generally seems dismissally of identity pol, whereas minorities generally seem very interested in identity pol.

What is going on with the UK? Also, where are they heading?
Scotland almost left, political instability, queen dead. My theory is brexit fall out + covid.

What other multiplayer games are you guys playing? Any interest in gaming together in other games?
cross-posted from: https://lemmy.perthchat.org/post/133975 > Basically c/chat + c/gaming. Anything that increases socializing is good especially considering loneliness is on the rise in modern times. > > The Lemmyverse chess event just ended https://lemmy.ca/post/292674 which is the most collaborative fedi gaming thing I've heard of. > > Lemmygrad might have a video gaming together thing too. > > List what multiplayer games you're willing to play with other Fedizens.

Pretty sure we’re not doing lemmgygrad since it’s the problems of lemmy.ml x10 and wolfballs is far right

Once one of these get big enough, not a bad idea to make those on other instances. In case the instance goes down, admin goes rogue etc.
