Part of fine dining is the experience. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but it’s supposed to show that we put effort into not only making good food but that it looks nice as well.

It’s more in between fine dining and casual dining. We care more about aesthetics than most places.
I just disagree with the premise that it cannot look good without also being neat/assembled.
I’m not saying that. I’m just stating that this particular dish was deliberately plated that way to show off all the ingredients in a visually pleasing way. It’s the only dish we serve that way.

Never thought about having grilled onions on a chicken sandwich and now I am wondering why. Grilled onions would make almost anything better.
Onions in general are one of the most versatile ingredients there is!
Anything with grilled onions is good for me … hell just grilled onions alone is enough for me
