This is implying that people need to be reminded not to sleep with engineering students. Personal experience would suggest no such reminder is necessary.

Harsh! The engineers I’ve met thus far have been pretty chill, though I haven’t dated any of them despite being an engineer myself lol

I thought this tweet was funny because then I get to hoard them to myself heheh

Former paramedic here who spent a bunch of time around nursing schools in my youth. This completely destroys the don’t stick your dick in crazy theory. Nursing students have a much higher rate of crazy than other professions. Just sayin.

As a full blown engineer, yeah ya ain’t wrong.

I’ve always gotten laid despite my career. And every time i interact with other engineers I understand why completely

Lol no. Not even from the CS folks I’ve slept with. I can see it helping with male engineers, as my sister is an engineer dating a male engineer and my brother in law is an engineer engaged to an engineer. But as a lesbian, no, it doesn’t help.

The thing is engineers have a reputation and it isn’t wrong. I do my best to counter it in myself but yeah if I wasn’t one I’d probably count it as a yellow flag in a potential partner.

And for context I’m happily married, in another long term relationship, and have done quite well for myself casually. And my wife does appreciate aspects of my career and what drove me to it, such as the pay and the fact that I’m good at fixing and making things. But she’s a programmer and still probably wouldn’t jump at the next attractive engineer she meets.

When it came time to choose a major, I went with the STEM field where I found the most people I enjoyed hanging with, the biologists.

Hilarious considering engineers, depending on type, make amazing money. Upward advancement opportunities are also endless.

How is that hilarious? That fact that you bring up how much money someone might make as a reply to a post that only mentions sex and intimacy is pretty damn sad actually…

All the world over, poor people have the most sex. How has this not got through your degree earning skull? The fact that you think money entitles you to sex is the most incel shit I’ve read this week. And it’s only Monday.
